We are celebrating our first anniversary and to mark the event, we created a 12-page online publication with a focus on the past twelve months, including testimonials from IC experts, academics and people from the industry. A year ago, we took the challenge to create IC Kollectif - to bring together the best sources of Internal Communication content from around the world, under one umbrella.
We wanted to fill a clear void in the market: before its creation, no organization, company or professional association was exclusively dedicated to gathering and curating IC resources and content and sharing it globally.
Today, we are very proud to say that the achievements have highly exceeded our expectations. IC Kollectif has developed a global offering that promotes content on specific topics embracing the multiple facets of IC and organizational communication. Content has come from relevant sources and influencers around the world. We aggregated a dynamic and sophisticated community of practices, and became an international reference for the IC profession.
IC Kollectif has gained industry, peer and academic recognition: from practitioners, consultants, professional communication associations, university instructors and researchers.
The website, launched only five months ago, maps a global community of best practices, facilitates access to more than 2500 professional resourcesand has an international following of professionals from 85 countries across the globe. We built a sizable high-quality audience of more than 3,200 Twitter followers, created meaningful connections andalliances with communication professionals and organizations, including international partnerships with organizations based in the US, the UK and in Australia.
In the following months we will concentrate on consolidating our web offering. The main goal remains for IC Kollectif to be the go-to reference in the organizational and employee communication space by providing distinctive high-quality sources and content, and by supporting top practitioners. We also want to play an active role in helping to distribute communication research to communication professionals around the globe.
IC Kollectif has recently become a nonprofit organization. We hope this new status will help us find financial support to build on the work that has been undertaken, and take on new and exciting challenges.
